Lesson #8 as new entrepreneurs: Networking is an art form that takes time and practice to perfect. Whether it’s learning how to approach someone at a crowded restaurant with their children or chatting someone up at a bar, this is an important skill that doesn’t always come naturally. Put some effort in. You’ll be surprised what people will tell you about themselves when you ask. It gets easier with time… at least that’s what we tell ourselves. 

Also, name tags are awkward to wear but come in handy. Put your twitter handle underneath your name.
